Story
Get to Know Us
Chief Drolet's Driving Academy was created by husband and wife, Glen and Eliza Drolet, after recognizing a need for quality driver education in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. Glen's experience as a police chief provides students with a unique perspective as they learn how to navigate the rules of the road.
Held on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6:15pm -8:15pm at Prospect Mountain High School in Alton, NH

Meet the Team
Co-owner and Lead Instructor
Glen Drolet
Glen is the Police Chief in Northwood, NH, father of three children and husband to Eliza. He and his family reside in Barnstead, NH and are all active within the local community.
Co-Owner and Business Manager
Eliza Drolet
Eliza is a Human Resources Specialist, mother of three children and wife to Glen Drolet. She also has been part of the local School Board for the past 9 years.
Driving Instructor
Joe Dyrkacz
Joe works for the New Hampshire National Guard and is a former police officer awarded for his courageous actions in the line of duty. Joe and his wife Paula reside in Alton, NH and have a combined four children.
Services
Our primary business is providing NH certified drivers education to teenagers between the ages of 15 and 9 months and 17 years of age. During the program teens attend 30 hours of classroom training, drive for 10 hours with an instructor and observe 6 hours of other students driving. If successfully completed this allows them to obtain the documentation needed to go to the DMV and test for their driver's license in the State of NH.
We also provide private driving instruction for adults looking to improve their driving abilities.
